Our brief was to update a complex cargo calculator written in an outdated programming language. The calculator ensured that all factors were taken into account, so that the customer quoted the correct price for the cargo to be transported. The problem was that the outdated software could no longer be adapted and improvements were not made.
Codeless has copied all business rules into one advanced calculator (using the Copy To Innovate method). In addition, we have delivered an application with which the customer can easily adjust the rules themselves. The user interface was also improved, and it now provides flags and warnings, in accordance with the requirements of the organization. The result is a technically modern application where all information about the transports and calculations are centralized and easily accessible.
